What I do

Support that actually fits

Cookie-cutter support doesn't work for neurodivergent people. Everything I do is built around you — your goals, your pace, your way of being in the world. And that includes the small stuff, the weird stuff, and the stuff you've been embarrassed to ask for before.

Community Access & Participation

Getting out doesn't have to be overwhelming. I go at your pace — a coffee and a chat, a weekly social group, a one-off concert, or whatever actually matters to you.

Not your typical support worker

I built the service I wish I'd had

I'm autistic. I've spent years looking for support that actually made sense for who I am — and struggled to find it. That's a big part of why Spectrum Supports exists. I know first-hand what it's like to need help that feels right, and to keep coming up empty.

I'm not interested in being a 'professional' support worker in the traditional sense. I want to work with people who are looking for something genuine — someone who matches their energy, respects their autonomy, and actually wants to spend time with them.

Why people choose me

If you're tired of the "typical" support experience

A lot of neurodivergent people have had support workers who showed up late, read from a script, or just didn't get it. I hear that constantly — and honestly, I've lived it too. Spectrum Supports was built for people who are done settling for average.

This isn't a franchise. It's one person — autistic, with 20+ years of professional experience across customer service, hospitality, disability support, youth work, and management — who actually gives a damn.

  • Deep lived experience. I'm autistic, I've navigated mental health challenges and eating disorder recovery, and I live with anaphylaxis and allergies — so I understand what it means to need extra consideration in everyday situations. I've also worked with advocacy and discrimination services. I understand what it means to need support — and to not be able to find the right kind.
  • 20+ years across the field. Customer service, hospitality, disability and youth support (including teens and young adults), supervision, coaching, and management. Real experience, not just a certificate.
  • Fair pricing. $65/hr* — below the NDIS cap, no hidden fees, no surprise invoices.
  • You lead. I follow your lead, adapt to your communication style, and respect every boundary.
  • Honest about fit. I value your time and mine. If I don't think I'm the right support for what you need — I'll tell you. No wasted money, no dragging things out.
  • Always learning. Studying Psychological Science at UTAS — because understanding people properly matters, and I want to keep getting better at this.

How to access support

Lots of ways to access support

NDIS participant? Great. No NDIS plan? Also great. I'm flexible, and I'll work out what suits your situation — including private bookings, casual sessions, or just a one-off thing.

NDIS — self-managed

You're in control of your plan, and you choose who you work with. I invoice you directly after sessions — easy to claim back from the NDIA. I'll walk you through it if you're not sure how.

NDIS — plan-managed

Your plan manager handles the admin. I handle the support. I work with all plan management providers in Tasmania — just let them know you'd like to use Spectrum Supports.

Private bookings

No NDIS plan, or just prefer to pay privately? That works too. Same rate, same quality of support. Reach out and I'll figure out the details with you.

Not sure where you land?

Genuinely, just ask. I'm happy to have an honest conversation about your situation — no pressure, no jargon, no sales pitch. I'd rather help you find the right support than sign you up for something that isn't the right fit.

NDIS participants: Spectrum Supports Tasmania is an unregistered provider. I support self-managed and plan-managed participants. Learn more about NDIS funding options →

Sound like your kind of support?
